When the Soviet Union realized after the Battle of Stalingrad that it lacked mobile heavy artillery support, the Su-152 was conceived. A design was quickly chosen and it was put into production at top speed. It debuted at the Battle of Kursk, where it proved itself effective against German tanks and a as a competent self-propelled gun.  Pieces are suitable for use with the Zvezda Art of Tactic expandable board game.
